Today....

July 31th! Today will make this the 6th entry I've made for my author's notes. Kind of... Haha!

I've been reading a helluva lot more and writing more. I figure, "Hey! If'n I can write more in posts for roleplay, then maybe just maybe I can write more for my readers."

Fiction & Fanfiction Progress Report:

• 'Pivot' - a Buffy: the Vampire Slayer slashfic. Chapter Six is going to be called "Subterfuge" to make it seem more mysterious...and all.
  
• 'Improbable' - a Kim Possible fanfic. Chapter 2, entitled "The Deserving Ones" posted.
  
• 'Revisited Pasts' - Personally requested... no longer being updated! I've literally given up on finishing this story up now...
  
• 'Prisoner' - original fic... on hiatus still. But that might be changing soon.
  
• 'Under A Primal Sky' - An UBER Xena: Warrior Princess piece of fiction... Chapter 1 is going to be worked on tonight. Only for uploads on deviantart or fictionpress.
  

Other tidbits?

Currently, I'm reading a book entitled "Wicked - The Life And Times Of The Wicked Witch Of The West". It's written by Gregory Maquire and oh my lord, it's fantastic! I got halfway through it the day after it arrived in the mail. And that was with me casually reading it. I'm slowing down now...trying to savor it more, if you will. Why mail you ask? Well....I am a tiny bit reclusive... And since I like this book so much, I'll be setting some monies aside to go buy the sequel: "Son Of A Witch". Yeah... I know you all were thinking that word with a B in front. DON'T LIE!

I've been collecting webpages like candy now for some odd reason. I've recently joined myspace and Youtube. o.O Why? In the weird hopes of self-promoting my writing as cheaply as possible.

Today....

I'm starting to think my days are blending together and I'm spending too much time not reading or writing. Lots of time is now going to cooking and cleaning stuff. And bonding with my car. And no! Stretching out on the hood of said car and saying: "I love you" is completely normal! Heh. But nevertheless, I am making progress on the stories! Sort of.

• 'Pivot' - a BtVS slashfic. Chapter 5 on the drawing room floor... Got a few ideas though..
  
• 'Improbable' - a Kim Possible fanfic. Chapter 2, entitled "The Deserving Ones" now in progress.
  
• 'Revisited Pasts' - Personally requested...temporarily halted for work on Improbable. Arg....hehe.
  
• 'Prisoner' - original fic... starting to write down ideas, notes and outlines.
  
• 'Under A Primal Sky' - An UBER Xena: Warrior Princess piece of fiction... Chapter 1 awaiting revision (as it was written originally some years ago)
  

Other tidbits?

I keep sitting and thinking over prices and such... It is a helluva lot cheaper to be an author. Because main prices come from ink useage and paper. But then...it's harder being seen as well. Most people are likely to click on something to look at it on DeviantArt if it's a drawing or a photograph...CG or the like. Being a writer SUCKS! Especially if you're not very well known. But I think I'm beginning to fix that, neh?

Today....

Having now decided to go and uhh... just do writing for the most part instead of struggling to draw a square correctly -- and failing mind you -- I'm kick starting the process by starting to upload my fanfics onto DA. Fully. *Grins.* Though they'll be an update behind. So if chapter 4's up at FF, only chapter 3 will be at DA.

The updating process will go as follows. I'm going to go and ah... try to update a fic per month. That might actually give me time to work on the storylines. And use what my friend Cari calls... my "particular writing style". Truth be told, I also want to take it easy. I'm in a writing frenzy yes, but I don't want to start to feel like I am having to force out every little word.

• 'Prisoner' - original fic...still on the drawing room floor...
  

Finger Crossage Because

• I'm also trying to make the stories and chapters longer and longer. However that means also that the chapters themselves will be less. But...that might be a good thing. What's better 12 chapters of 2 paragraphs or 2 chapters of 6 paragraphs?
  
• I'm contemplating joining Realm of the Shadow with some of my fics.
  
• I'm getting other story ideas... Uh-oh...
